A new USB drive, and another owl to add to my collection…
My owl inventory is not as plentiful as my pig collection,
but is growing nicely!

This week marked midterm week in my Digital Design class.  My coursework to date was presented to my professor and class peers along with a chance to tell a story.  My WordPress homepage header image was brought to attention by Professor Krikun.  I was happy to describe my trip to Scotland in 2008… a trip that gave me an abundance of material that I have since used in digital courses taken at WCC such as Photoshop and Illustrator.  The cropped header image you see is a collage created in Photoshop and utilizes found objects from my “Holiday” abroad.

I have updated my WordPress site so that now a full size image of my “Collage of Scotland” is cataloged… along with a gallery show of my tale “Journey to Knighthood”… Enjoy.

I have selected the non-profit agency “Meals On Wheels” as my “Design For Good” semester project.  Project work will include creating a logo and marketing campaign.  Design phases, including thumbnails through final logo, and campaign ideas will be available for viewing throughout my website as they evolve.

It is the top of week-6 in my course, Digital Design, with Professor Deborah Krikun.  I am utilizing the labs at a SUNY WCC extension site in Peekskill, New York.  These are Apple laboratories… providing students with all current equipment, professional software, and the temptation to permanently move in with sleeping bag and toothbrush.

Course work currently consists of intensive use of Adobe Illustrator.
Examples of my work will be available for viewing on this WordPress site by March 12, 2013.

My hope for marijaknezevic.wordpress.com is to showcase my course work completed at WCC, and further… to create a complete virtual portfolio of my artwork.  I hope that you will enjoy exploring this site.

I am enrolled at SUNY Westchester Community College in order to obtain a certificate in Digital Arts.  This program consists of 36-credits.  Details of course work and sample images can be found throughout my WordPress website.
